After what simultaneously feels like a really long and short summer, I thought it was a good time for an update as we move into autumn and winter.
It’s been a great summer of festivals and events, even though we took a break from our own regular sessions. For the fourth year running, we sang the maha-mantra as the sun came up over Hengistbury Head on the solstice (photo above). We also joined various ratha yatras in different cities, and different kirtan festivals including London and Birmingham.
The biggest change to our schedule is that we’re returning to a weekly Sunday format. We’re also introducing Bhakti Steps to the programme, which lets us start exploring the philosophy of Bhakti yoga and the practices that go alongside it.
Our monthly kirtan at Charminster Spiritualist Church will now be the venue for a longer kirtan session.
Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to know more, or just come along to one of our sessions.
